“My little girl who is 4 had her first dental cleaning at Dr. Jennings’ dental office in Monroe, NC yesterday. He and his staff were excellent! My daughter was initially worried about going to the dentist. Working as a dental assistant myself, I didn’t know exactly how it would go either.

Dr. Jennings and his staff put her/us right at ease. It was such a relief to know it went so well for everyone (including the dental staff). I can not express enough how important it is for the first dental experiences to be positive!

“My visit to Dr. Jennings on June 14 was a good one. It was the first time Dr. Jennings had done any work on my teeth and I found him to be very pleasant and very professional. He worked on the bottom of both sides of my mouth and I have very little sensitivity from the actual work. 

I have had no pain other than a very sore tongue, which I can only assume came from contact with one of the instruments or from the x-ray that was made before the work was done. I would say the overall experience was better than I had anticipated, since going to the dentist always makes me a little nervous.” – Gail L.

“I first met Doctor Jennings, eight years ago when I drove 10 miles to the dental practice he was associated with. From the start, I knew I had met the dentist who met the expectations I was looking for in keeping my teeth in excellent condition as long as possible. Not only is he very professional in his work, his personality, friendliness and medical knowledge is outstanding.

 He takes the time needed to explain your dental health, is thorough and honest about his diagnosis upon each examination and if there really is a need for dental work. When he moved to a new dental practice, I drove 52 miles just to keep him as my dentist. I found out that he had moved and started his own dental clinic…72 miles for me to drive.

To keep Doctor Jennings as my dentist, the miles did not hinder me from continuing my dentist of choice and who has become a good friend. Anyone who meets Doctor Jennings, will understand why I would recommend him as their dentist of choice.. His new facility is first class…beautiful. “In my past experiences, dental visits were a nightmare. I have extreme dental anxiety when it comes to even stepping foot in a dentist office. I’ve had that one bad experience that has made me avoid the dentist up till now. I asked my fellow co-worker where she went for dental care and she referred Dr. Jennings. Dr. Jennings and his staff are very patient and understanding of my anxiety and make sure I am comfortable throughout my visit. After an extensive treatment he even called to see how my mouth was and to make sure I was okay. If I ever had an issue of pain, his staff was so quick to get me in to figure out the issue.

“After suffering with a horrible toothache over the weekend, I called Dr. Jennings’ office first thing Monday morning for help. They were able to work me in immediately. Dr. Jennings thoroughly examined the area where I was hurting and concluded that the tooth’s root under the crown had died.

He made an apparatus for my mouth so that I would not bite down on the aching tooth and referred me to an endodontic doctor for a root canal. He also prescribed medicine for pain and started me on an antibiotic.

I feel that the staff of the office (Beth) went above and beyond to get my case addressed quickly. Dr. Jennings and his assistant were very professional and helpful. I cannot give enough praise to the doctor and his staff for the way I was cared for and treated.” – Julia G.

Had two fillings and it was a breeze. Was completely pain free. He is kind, gentle and ensures you are comfortable and takes the time to listen throughout your dental visit. “This was my first time having work done by Dr. Jennings. I was scheduled for filling repairs in the back bottom teeth on either side. I thought I was only getting one repaired, and Dr. Jennings said that was fine with him. We scheduled the other one for a future appointment.

“I went in for a root canal and Dr. Jennings was great with the procedure. He was unable to complete the procedure due to the severity of it, but scheduled me an appointment with a specialist. He did a great job with it as far as he was able to go.

I had no discomfort whatsoever, even after the feeling came back. I would definitely recommend him, and use him for future root canals. He did not even charge for the visit since he could not complete the procedure.” – Robbie L.

“After my hygienist, who is wonderful by the way, did her thing, I got to meet Dr. Jennings. No cavities, but I do have some bone loss, not sure if 17 rounds of chemo did this or just my bad luck. Dr. Jennings came in and told me my options. He was very nice and gave me a referral to see another doctor in Matthews who specializes in bone loss.

He explained everything in detail, so I really liked that about him. He is young and up to date on dental procedures and I liked that too! I think Dr. Cline picked a very good choice to take over his practice. I will keep Dr. Jennings as my dentist.” – Janis G.
