Dear patient,
I am personally writing to you to inform you that as of this coming June, I will be relinquishing my permanent position at Dr. Jennings’ practice. At this time, I need to focus more on my family and my aging parents. My mother is at the age where she will require more help from me than I will be able to offer.
After 14 years of service, I’m leaving with mixed emotions. It has been a great place to work throughout the years, both with Dr. Cline and Dr. Jennings. I have a great deal of respect for Dr. Jennings, for he is a committed person, dentist, and boss who wants nothing more than to give his patients his very best work.
I have enjoyed getting to know each one of my patients. It’s bought me great joy that you have shared your life with me. I consider many of you to be a valued friend. I hope that in my little ways, I have served you well.
Dr. Maggie Matavese will be the one taking over my position. Dr. Jennings has worked with Maggie for many years in another practice. She has filled-in for both Stephanie and me over the years, so some of you already met her. If you have not had the opportunity to meet her, I think you will find her to be friendly, experienced, and professional in caring for your hygiene needs.
I’ve appreciated your support and friendship over the years. I wish you and Dr. Jennings all the best with his practice. I have offered Dr. Jennings my help, if needed, on a fill-in basis whenever I’m available. I will miss our conversations and hope to meet some of you in the community.
